Where the lake is the most beautiful pushes a small peninsula in the lake, to the left and right flanked by traditional seaside Pörtschach. Charming villas and stylish Lakehouses persuade them that we here have always cared for and lived like them. Gustav Mahler and Johannes Brahms, to name only two artists to name, knew this was appreciated. The atmosphere is refreshingly young and sporty, the lake beckons with all its possibilities, along the flower lined promenade to the table to table. Who after tennis, golf, water sports, sun, or roast in the balmy nights get one of them, it should retain.
